Life Is Short, and So Am I

I know three people who's lives changed this week: a friend in his early 30's fighting cancer for the third time; a man my age who died of pancreatic cancer; and a friend in his late 60's who had a stroke.

living intentionally

This is life. It is not always carefree. Not every day brings happiness. No-one can see what tomorrow will bring. But life it is.

That's why every day needs to count. Every day needs to be more than the sum of the hours, minutes and seconds. Every day is a snapshot of who you are and who you want to be.

I'm 19,012 days old today. I don't believe every day can be remarkable. I do believe I can make a remarkable difference in at least one person's life... today. And I'll be watching for that moment - ready to seize it when it appears. That's who I want to be.

Who will you be... today?
