At the time of this writing, I've been an American citizen for just under two weeks.
Two days ago I flew to Washington DC to surprise a friend of mine, Bobby Litchge. Bobby is a 90 year old veteran of World War 2. He's as tough as they come and still incredibly active. He's someone I really admire on so many levels. Along with three other veterans from S.E. Indiana, he was tasked with laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington Cemetary.
It turned out to be a 22 hour day for me but what a privilege it was to be there! Here's the video... (My friend, Bobby is the guy in the front row on the right during the ceremony).
